David Kalaj is an accomplished mathematician and professor
at the Faculty of Natural Sciences and Mathematics at the University of
Montenegro. Born in Tuz, he completed his primary and secondary schooling in
Tuzi before pursuing higher education in mathematics and later earning his PhD
in mathematical sciences at the University of Belgrade.
Professor Kalaj has built a distinguished academic career
focused on advanced areas of mathematical analysis, including harmonic and
quasiconformal mappings, complex analysis, and geometric function theory. His
research has been published extensively in respected international journals,
and his work has contributed significantly to the global mathematical
community.
Throughout his career, Kalaj has received numerous honors
for his scientific contributions, including prestigious national awards recognizing
his impact on mathematics and education in Montenegro.
In addition to his research and teaching roles, he has
collaborated with scholars and institutions around the world and continues to
mentor students across all academic levels, helping nurture the next generation
of mathematicians.
