Nikollë Camaj is a Albanian politician in Montenegro. He
currently serves as Vice‑President of the Parliament of
Montenegro, a position he was elected to with strong parliamentary support,
reflecting his long experience and leadership in politics.
Camaj’s professional life began in education: he taught
Albanian language and literature for over 20 years, shaping generations of
students in Tuz before entering full‑time
political work.
A founder of the Democratic League of Albanians the first Albanian political party in
Montenegro he later became its President
and now holds the honorary title of President. His work has focused on
strengthening political representation, minority rights, and greater inclusion
within Montenegro’s institutions.
As Deputy Speaker of the Parliament, Camaj continues to
advocate for the full integration of Albanians into national life, cooperation
across communities, and democratic development within Montenegro.
