A formal request has been submitted for the construction of a statue dedicated to the Albanian national hero Ded Gjo Luli in the center of Tuzi.
The initiative was announced by the project’s initiator and financier, Gjergj Prenkoçaj, who confirmed that the proposal has officially been delivered to the relevant municipal authorities. As part of this initiative, a meeting was held with the Mayor of Tuzi, Lindon Gjelaj, during which the proposal to place the statue of the national hero in the city center was discussed.
During the meeting, the full project concept was presented, including the administrative and technical details necessary for the realization of the statue.
According to Prenkoçaj, the mayor expressed support for the initiative and assured that the municipality would make maximum efforts to help facilitate the realization of the project in accordance with the submitted request.
