Besa Arena is the football stadium in Tuzi and the home ground of FK Deçiq, one of the main clubs in the Montenegrin First League.

 

The stadium is located in the center of Tuzi and has become an important sports landmark for the Malësia region.

The stadium upgrade allowed FK Deçiq to host top-league matches and European qualifiers.

Naming the stadium Besa Arena reflects the cultural identity of the Albanian community in Tuzi and Malësia.

 

Because FK Deçiq has performed well in the Montenegrin league, the club has also played in UEFA qualifying competitions, such as  UEFA Europa Conference League qualifiers.

 

This brought international attention to the stadium and the town of Tuzi.

 

Interesting fact:

Even though Tuzi is a small town, FK Deçiq has become one of the most competitive clubs in Montenegro in recent years, challenging bigger clubs from Podgorica and the coast.
